Platform Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Clear rules defining acceptable behavior, cyber security integrity, and zero-tolerance violations across the New Home Kenya digital ecosystem.
1. Permitted Purpose
New Home Kenya is provided strictly for individuals, families, businesses, and registered real estate professionals to discover, list, view, and transact genuine real estate in Kenya.
2. Strictly Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Platform or assist any other party to:
- Harvest or Scrape Data: Use scrapers, web spiders, crawlers, or automated scripts to extract listings, phone numbers, or property pricing data without explicit written consent.
- Conduct Financial Deception: Solicit advance viewing fees, deposit payments for nonexistent properties, or engage in wire fraud.
- Impersonate Others: Masquerade as an estate agency, government registrar, property owner, or platform staff member.
- Harass or Abuse Users: Transmit obscene, defamatory, racially offensive, threatening, or sexually explicit communications through our messaging channels.
- Compromise Security: Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities, bypass authentication gates, or transmit malware, Trojans, or malicious code.
3. Enforcement & Reporting to Authorities
Violations of this policy will result in immediate account termination, deletion of published content, and blocking of network access. In cases of financial fraud, forged documentation, or cybercrimes under the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018, we cooperate fully with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Cyber Crime Unit and provide full audit logs.
